Where You Hang Your Hat

So I have been wanting to post this for awhile. Before I left for Texas Wynnette got Chris and I a going away/housewarming present which I wanted to wait til I was with Chris to open but I couldn't resist...

it ended up being one of the sweetest things I have ever gotten with the most sweet message as well.

It says "They say Home is where you hang your hat. Stick these back in the closest somewhere, you and Chris find a hat to hang on them. Keep them, you'll always have a place for your hats (home)". It was a very sweet gesture considering that i have never been away from my family and it really made me feel better.

So I have been meaning to send her a picture of them hanging in our closet... but i took the hats off so you could see the hooks. Of course Chris's UofA hats are hanging with pride!

I will always think of this as the sweetest gift and will remember it in the future to pay it forward to another couple starting out. :)
