We did the following things:
Chris and Katie made fig arugula prosciutto pizza
Chris and I made chicken and dumplings
Mom made walking tacos
Dad grilled tuna and steak
Snow cones all around from Ululeani
Boys hiked "the Needle", a few miles up the road to Hana
Boys went fishing near Lanai
Everyone (minus mom) went on a snorkel trip and saw a bunch of turtles, 5 spotted bat rays, and Chris saw a 5 foot white tip shark.
Everyone (including mom) went to Big Beach - played in the water and as my mom said, survived a haboob (sand storm) that broke our umbrella.
Ate multiple times at The Moose and discovered the loco moco ( white rice with a hamburger patty with a sunny side up egg covered in gravy) sounds weird but it was delicious!
Went and saw the worlds largest Banyan tree in Lahaina
Lots of drinking sheet music (my moms nickname for Andre) and pupu platters (mostly of chips and dips)
It has been a great trip and I really am going to miss having my family together.
