It has been 2 years from today, when we had our wedding celebration!
We have lived in Virginia for 2 whole years and that's when I decided enough is enough!
We need to go to Busch Gardens! All my coworkers always seem to have annual passes. Do go to "Christmas town" and "hollow scream". Chris and I have been meaning to go when we have visitors in town but it never seems worth the money an time to spend a whole day there.
Chris bought our tickets on base ( and got a discount!) and then basically in order to make the year long passes worth it - you have to go twice. You also get free parking ad a discount in any food you buy while in the park.
We have never done anything like this before in all the time we have known each other and it was such a fun time! What a great way to celebrate!
I didn't know this, but Bush Gardens is the self proclaimed "worlds most beautiful theme park". It was very pretty - located in Williamsburg. For those of you who have visited us here in Virginia - it is pretty close - not as at the outlet mall. When you are up on the roller coasters there was the prettier view of the ocean and all the trees. Pretty cool.
Also, they had a pretty big animal habitat area. Clydesdales and a jack hanna area. We toured the stable area and saw some of the horses. one horse had this hue toy that looked like a kong ball for horses. We watched a nature show where owls ad hawks flew over top of us, wolves and rats ran around.
We enjoyed a bunch ride with hardly any waiting in line. It was the second weekend of it being opened this year so we pretty much walked on to every ride except some towards the end of the day.
We came across this booth that had family crests. We found both RAFACZ and WHEELAND I the book. I kind of talked Chris into buying the famil crest since he was really interested in what it had to say ( which you couldn't see until you bought it). We plan on getting a frame and hang it in the office. Next time I think I will have to get a WHEELAND one to represent! ;)
Another thing that was different is that Ty sold beer! Chris and i decided to partake. Defensively a weird feeling - having drank a beer an then having the weightless feeling of the downward portion of a coaster!
Overall I had a great time with my hubby celebrating 2 years of this adventure I call our life!
