Jan9th 2015 -First Swim Lesson

One of the things I was most excited about when we first moved to our new house was that there was a year long swim school down the street (note: indoor). This seemed like a great idea to me - to get Bennett  started in lessons so by the time summer rolls around he would be comfortable in a pool.

I also figured this would be a good thing for Chris and Bennett to get to do together (when possible)...

So today was his first lesson. Parent child lesson.  It all started great! Waiting for his class he seemed excited to see he other kids in the water. Excited to be there! Happy!!!

I asked Chris to take our picture..

 This is as good as I get when I ask... When I questioned Chris he said "what?! You're in it aren't you!?" 

Yes... Indeed I am...

At this point I was watching from inside the parent waiting area...  Bennett is not happy

He sees me... Still not happy

At this point they asked me to come inside so to try to calm him down...

He finally seemed to have fun when he could either throw something or knock something over

Not wanting to participate 

He was suppos d to be standing on the float... And as you can see - he is doing everything he can to not put his feet down

So he hated the first lesson... probably so did everyone else in class that had to listen to his screaming and crying.  Next class I will be going in the water with him... Hopefully it will get better!

Really hoping my baby turns into a water baby!!!
