San Antonio

So Chris and I dropped Georgia off at a kennel and headed down to Sn Antonio for the holiday weekend. 3.5 hour drive and we were down south. We stayed at the Hyatt Regensey which is the hotel that has the "short cut" on the basement level to the Alamo. First things first we made our way over the to Alamo.

Had to take a picture of a sign because we couldn't get a photo that specifically looked like we were in front of the Alamo. Because it was the weekend it was very busy. Graduating Airman from basic training were everywhere with their families and then on top of it being a holiday weekend it was very crowded.
We saw this carriage and it reminded me of Cinderella
They had some sort of event going on outside the Alamo so we had to take a round about way to get there... even though out hotel was across the street. Looked like a wedding or something...
Then we made our way down to the riverwalk!
Glass sculpture in one of the store windows...

Baby ducks in the gross water...
Saw this store that had a sign saying "Jake's Place." Made me miss Be, Jacob, and Emma alot...
more riverwalk
Marriage Island Sculpture!
We took a boat ride tour which was interesting. Kind of because it was hard to tell perspective from the boat of which direction we were headed....
This tree was growing out of the wall. Original to the surroundings!
Famous one plain building!

This was a present from Mexico. Largest mosaic. was shipped from mexico in 2" x 2" panels.

From the top of our hotel

Trying to get the Alamo in the background... I think Chris's head is in the way...
There is it!
My amazing fiance!
This was on our drive home... scared us at first glance!
We had a great weekend away!
