WE survived the hurricane!
Sorry for the delayed update. Our power was out for 3 days total. Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
The rain was pretty intense for most of the storm, as well as wind. I guess I didn't really know what to expect with a hurricane but it felt a lot like a bad monsoon. So the day after the storm passes Chris and I took Georgia out to survey the damage (as well as get in some air conditioning for awhile)!

We stopped by to see if we could get some warm food... no milk or bagels...
The tree that fell on my downstair neighbor's apartment
A huge tree fell over near our apartment. This is a view out the window... All the brown stuff are the roots! Lots of roots! Good thing it fell the other way!
