yard renovation

yard renovation weekend!!

so we decided that we were going to tackle the smallest part of the yard that needs work, so that we could see what we were getting ourselves into and so that we could hopefully have a victory our first try at something!

so i decided to take pictures of the progress...

so we were starting out with some dirt, wet clay below the dirt, a stupid green utility box, a drain that doesn't drain correctly and trash from the construction workers

notice our "yard" compared to our neighbors...  looks pretty nice if i do say!

so we got all this done on saturday... then sunday morning it decided to rain... and it has rained all day long.  good thing it rained so we could see how the drain was working!

it ended up being clogged so chris got up on the roof to clean the gutters... in the rain.  I told him he was only allowed to do this while I was home incase he fell...

 

Georgia noticed when the drain started working :)
