Our backyard had been a huge issue since we have moved into this house. We kept saying that we would start working on the yard once it got warmer... and now that it warmer... I wish we would have worked on it while it was cooler out!
Here are some pictures to see what we started with...

we still plan on trimming the tree more, baby steps! I have a hard time trimming it because I love all the shade it providers right now!

Meanwhile on the other side of the yard... Chris and I borrowed a tiller from my friend Vickie, which made it a lot easier on Chris to pull up all the weeds/dead grass from the yard
This time Chris bought a nice trim to keep the mulch in. We plan on finishing the other side by the ac unit with this as well :)
