This year I had to miss the annual "Soup Kitchen" on 4th Ave and University in Tucson because Georgia had her appointment to get spayed. We (I) took her in thursday morning and was to pick her up the next morning. I guess they do this so it isn't so traumatic for the owners and so that the animal can be monitored after the surgery and coming out of anesthesia. Well she loves our vet so dropping her off was no problem. She weights 28 pounds! The girl up front said "she finally grew!!!" So after I dropped her off I took full advantage of having an "empty house" and wasted the day christmas shopping. Got most of it done which was great!
I knew I was attached to her (Georgia) but I didn't realize how much I would miss her while she was gone. So I went the next morning to pick her up and it was as if she never had surgery. She was full of life. A little tired but thats to be expected. Got her home and had to take some pictures...
She looks so depressed in these next 2 pictures...
This is how she normally sits while we are eating diner so she can see what is on the table. Also its a prime begging position.
Her trying to take a nap on the couch.
While she was sleeping I managed to get a picture of her belly with the stitches. I think they look kinda weird... Like it wasn't closed correctly... I guess we will see on friday when we go back to get them removed.
Once she woke up... notice the eye boogers. I think she looks very mature in this one.
