kitchen adventures

Chris and I have been on a peppermint bark kick... well actually we had to make another batch because we had leftover chocolate.  We always seem to get fresh strawberries from Sam's Club so we thought we would try to make some chocolate covered strawberries as well as another batch of peppermint bark.

 white chocolate... i was proud that chris picked up the camera so i could be in some pictures :)  that weren't self portraits

 finished product cooling...  not as good as edible arrangements but i think its the quality of the chocolate... i'd have to say they were better than i was expecting them to be! 

 and of course... chris cleaning up afterwards

As everyone knows, Katie made painted champagne glasses for everyone that attended her wedding.  Some people ended up not coming or not taking their glasses so I ended up with a set of 4.  :)

all these pictures make it look like it was a really romantic night... in reality it was a tv watching kind of night followed by chris playing xbox.  oh the chris gag level... the wine was a 5 :) but i liked it.
