To update everyone in the past week of events...
Tuesday we found out our baby no longer had a heartbeat. My body needed help completing the miscarriage. My mom and sister came to town to help me with everything. Dealing with emotions of losing the baby and to help me recover from the procedure. My d&c Surgery was on Friday morning. We got home from the hospital around 3... I began to bleed... we realized it was me hemorrhaging and went to the ER around 9 hours after the first surgery.
They decided I needed to be rushed into emergency surgery at 2 or 3 in the morning to stop the bleeding.
Basically I almost needed a blood transfusion. They were concerned that I may have needed to have my uterus removed if they couldn't get the bleeding under control. I am now starting to realize how close to dying I could have been and how scary this whole experience was for my wonderful and loving husband Chris, sister, mom, and the rest of my family ad friends.
I am now home recovering. Still very sore. A little slower than I once was - from the lower blood count. My arms look like pin cushions. But I am alive. I am so blessed to have so many prayers coming my way from people than didn't even know what exactly was going on.
