I'm 12 months old!

WEIGHT: 21 lbs

FAVORITE TOY: Balloons - for his birthday we blew up many many many balloons and I wasn't sure how they would go over.  Well it turns out he LOVED them.  Chasing them, kicking them, hitting them.  Throwing them so they bounce off the fan.  anything involving balloons and he has been a happy boy.  He hasn't popped any yet - I'm sure then his love for balloons may be another story!

FAVORITE ACTIVITY: Making noises when he hits his mouth with his palm. I wasn't to say its what people do to reference a traditional indian? I don't know - trying to be politically correct - but thats the closest thing I can think of to the noise he loves to make.  He also likes to play his lips... making a noise when he hits his fingers agains them.  Hard to explain in words - but it's all about making weird noises.  He also loves being chased!  He loves to "run" away but ultimately loves being caught and tickled.  He laughs the cutest little giggle.

MILESTONE: In the last few weeks he has really learned how to walk in his walker.  He loves it because he can go wherever he wants - and isn't able to get into much trouble cause he is contained.  When auntie Katie and Grandma Shirley were in town - they both encourages him to "run" around a lot and ever since then he has LOVED running from the living room to the kitchen.

DISLIKES: Being told no.  He recently started throwing tantrums when he doesn't get to do what he wants to do.  This can include things like - when you take away the remote control to the tv, if you take away the kleenex box cause he wants to pull out all the tissues.  I guess he recently started to understand that when he starts to cry and fuss that we will try to do certain things to make him stop - and he thinks he can get what he wants... Smart boy.

Bennett was very serious during his photos this month.
Too old to smile now I guess :)

Pointed toes!
